Health & Wellness Committee – Be part of a committee that assists with determining policies for the Shul in regard to various Health & Wellness topics that arise.
Youth Committee – Be part of the committee that helps plan, organize, and facilities all Youth related ideas, programs, events, processes, etc.
Sisterhood – Be part of a committee that will work together with the Sisterhood Co-Presidents to help plan amazing programs and activities for the women of our community.
Security Committee – Be part of a committee that will help devise security protocols for BJC and assist in the implementation and coordination of our BJC Volunteer Security Team. Assist in all facets of the Annual Department of Homeland Security Grant process.
Finance Committee – Be part of a committee that will work closely with our treasurer to help ensure that the Shul’s finances are in order on a regular basis, as well as working on the Annual Budget.
New Member/Welcoming Committee – Be part of a committee that will assist in identifying potential members that have recently moved into our community, engage them, and try to encourage them to join membership, as well as welcoming those who have officially joined.
Shabbos Hospitality Committee – Be part of a committee that will assist in the coordination for families that are looking to visit our community for various reasons, with places to stay and places to eat for Shabbos.
Events Committee – Be part of a committee that will work with the Executive Director of the shul, to assist in the planning, implementation, and execution of the major events that take place throughout the year.
Food Committee – Be part of a committee that is responsible for making all food related decisions for the shul, including, but not limited to, the menus for kiddushim, the menus for shul programs and events, as well as how and where to source it from.
PR/Marketing/Social Media/Website Committee – Be part of a committee that will help BJC properly promote itself to the outside world, and internally, via website, social media, email campaigns, WhatsApp messages, Newspaper Ads, community posts, etc.
Sports Day Committee – Be part of a committee that will work with the Executive Director to assist in the planning, implementation, and execution of our Annual Sports Day Event.
Gala Auction Committee – Be part of a committee that will work with the Executive Director to assist in the planning, implementation, and execution of the Gala Auction.
Fundraising Committee – Be part of a committee that will work with the Executive Director to help identify a fundraising strategy that will help target and eventually solicit families to contribute in order to help grow our operating budget.
New Building Committee – Be part of a committee that will work with the leadership of the Shul to assist in the fundraising, planning, implementation, and execution of the New Building Campaign.
